Drive Time Band is an Atlanta based show band that has been performing since 1994. Jazz musician, arranger, writer, producer, and business owner, Mack McKibben, started the group as a Jazz duo pleasing audiences young and old alike all around the southeast. The group has since then evolved into an 10 piece show band that has entertained all types of audiences through parties, corporate events, weddings, conventions, and concerts.
Drive Time Band is comprised of a smoking 5 piece rhythm section, 5 voice ensemble of tight harmony, and seasoned with a powerful horn section. Members of the band have 60 plus years of experience in the music and entertainment industry, all of which have performed with nationally known artist. Combining the best of Atlanta musicians, the musicians of Drive Time Band bring decades of collective experience from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Jazz circuit, to country, blues, metal, and pop, making them a "melting pot" of exciting diversity. This diverse experience allows Drive Time Band to make your event an experience that you will talk about for years to come! "We were excited to hear this band and the hospital Auxiliary Gala Committee asked Drive Time Band to be the band for the Annual Spring Gala and Hospital Benefit. We were not disappointed.
